B.Tech Robotics engineering is one of the most prominent and emerging field in the engineering structure. Robotics Engineering is a very interesting and inventive field which involves multiple options to create a desired output. B.Tech Robotics Engineering is a 4 year under graduate course which studies the different mechanisms such as computer engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering to design and develop an automated system.
B.Tech Robotic engineering deals with studying the basic concepts of computer and technology with mechanical principles and electrical knowledge which utilizes to develop embedded automation systems. The technological era of development has led to increase and rise in the usage of different applied sciences in our day to day life. Artificial intelligence (AI) based applications is one of such application used in creating an embedded networking system.
The robotics engineering teaches students to create a better version of robotic designing not just in the robotic industry but also the technology will be used in various other fields and in the entire manufacturing sector. B.Tech Robotic engineers are more prone to create robots for usage in human life in actuality. B.Tech Robotic engineering is an interdisciplinary program which deals with the designing and development of robots to be utilized in various sectors such as manufacturing sector, military, marine, defence, medical and army sectors.
B.Tech Robotic engineering is best suited for those students who desire to pursue a career in robotics and have a fervent towards robots and artificial technology for real human life. After finishing their Robotics in engineering students can join for their further education such as M.Tech in Robotic engineering which is for a tenure of 2 years in automation and system. For those who want to do more research and gain knowledge on Robotics and its system can join the PhD program in Robotics.
The admission process for B.Tech Robotic engineering is serene and simple and is similar to that of other engineering courses which depend highly on the eligibility criteria. Admissions can be done on two basis: entrance exam or merit basis or management quota. On the basis of merit quota students can get admissions, as every college has a cut off percentage and differs vastly from college to college. If any student has scored the cut off can get admissions through the merit quota. Students can also get admissions through entrance exams which are conducted state level and national level. Based on the ranking they will be awarded with seats. These entrance exam scores will be combined with the board exam scores and differ from college to college.
Through the management quota students can get admissions into the highly recognized private universities but the fee structure would be very massive.
There is a list of specializations that students can choose from depending upon interest, skills and the business trends.

The career and scope for Robotic engineer is very high as compared to any other field. Because students have a choice to work as a full time, part time or a freelancer depending upon their requirements. As B.Tech in Robotics engineering is a multi-disciplinary course, students can find jobs in many sectors such as IT, manufacturing, mechanical, AI&ML etc. Students can choose the type of job that they want to do as they can come and think out of the box with new innovations along with the on-going trends.
Since the Robotic engineering industry is already on a trudge and this provides more opportunities for young and talented aspiring students on the verge to become engineers in robotic field.
With all these qualities B.Tech Robotic engineers can flourish in their jobs. Some of the career prospects of robotic engineers are as follows: industrial robots, service robots, industrial robots, service robots, industrial automation, condition monitoring modelling and simulation, advanced automation, product design and development.
After the scope of their graduation in B.Tech students can pursue their higher education there as well which will provide more career opportunities. The demand for robotic engineers will be more in the different sectors of telecommunication industry, mining industry, industrial sector, health care sector, transportation, space exploration, forest industry and food industry etc. the scope is high both in India and abroad.
