B.Tech Aerospace Engineering is a 4-year under graduate course which is further divided into 8 semesters. Eligibility Criteria

  1. The candidates must have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board or university.
  2. They should have completed their 12th with a minimum of 60% in PCM.
  3. The candidates must have completed their 12th with PCM as mandatory subjects.
  4. For the reserved categories such as OBC, SC/ST or PWD the minimum eligibility will be 55%.
  5. Diploma holders in aerospace engineering can also get into the B.Tech program through lateral entry admission.

Admission Process

The admission process for aerospace engineering is not at all a complicated process, it is just like any other engineering course. Admissions can happen in B.Tech aerospace engineering either through entrance exams or merit basis or one can get direct admission in college. Entrance exams are conducted state level, national level and university level.

Candidates can attend any entrance exam depending upon which college they want to get into and score less ranking for government seats. Based on the performance of the candidate, colleges will prepare a merit list and will conduct counseling rounds and candidates have to qualify all around such as personal interview until the last round.

For direct admissions for Aerospace Engineering the candidate need not attend any entrance exams, they can just apply for the prescribed course that they want to choose through the institute’s official website.   1. Diploma in Aerospace Engineering: Diploma in Aerospace engineering is for a tenure of 3 years and students can take up this course after completion of their 10th standard.
  2. Undergraduate or degree program in B.Tech or B.E: B.Tech or B.E is a 4- year undergraduate degree course that students can take up after completion of 12th standard and is a very commonly opted course.
  3. Post-graduation or M.E or M.Tech: M.E or M.Tech in aerospace engineering is the course that is usually considered as higher education and those interested in doing PG can do this after completion of their under-graduation program or B.Tech Aerospace Engineering.
